Whitehaven

By road From The South:
Leave the M6 at junction 40 (Penrith) and head west on the A66 towards Keswick. Continue on the A66 past Cockermouth. Join the A595 sign posted Whitehaven. Remain on the A595 for about 2 miles south of Whitehaven. Westlakes is clearly sign posted from the main road.

By road From The North & East:
Join the A595 at Carlisle and head south to Cockermouth. At Cockermouth take the A66 west towards Workington & Whitehaven. After about 5 miles leave the A66 and rejoin the A595 sign posted Whitehaven. Then follow directions for travelling from the south as indicated above.

By rail:
Whitehaven can be reached by rail from the west coast main line by connecting with the West Cumbria regional line at Carlisle.

By coach:
Whitehaven is a National Express terminal and has frequent bus services to and from the rest of the country.
