What
training and professional development can I expect from REACT?
REACT
supports the Monitored Professional Development Scheme (MPDS), accredited by
the IMechE This scheme enables Graduates to work towards becoming a chartered
engineer within the shortest possible timeframe. Professional development
schemes associated with other disciplines can also be supported by REACT.
What
support do I have when I start?
Each
new graduate at REACT is supported in their development by their line manager. Additionally
each graduate working on the MPDS is supported by a separate company MPDS
mentor.
My
degree is not engineering, are there opportunities for me?
The
majority of work undertaken by REACT is engineering related. However, due to
the growing remit of work undertaken at REACT, graduates from other
scientific/environmental disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Will
I get the opportunity to work with customers?
Yes,
due to the nature of our work, it is imperative that we communicate and work
effectively with our customers. It is usual to have regular meetings and site
visits with our customers.
