During the 2005 Whitehaven Maritime Festival, REACT hosted a public talk about Whitehaven's Shipping Industry and organised & manned an engineering workshop with examples of the engineering world's astonishing success stories.

As a key sponsor of the festival, we hosted a two-day showcase of engineering artefacts - past and present where engineers from REACT were on hand to talk about careers in engineering. There were amazing items on display from robots to spitfire engines to a working model of the Falkirk Wheel. 

REACT Engineering also sponsored the 2007 International Maritime Festival.
