N-Visage™ is a unique 2-stage plant analysis technique that combines conventional radiation measurement instrumentation, with computer modelling and post processing to derive a detailed and underpinned model of a radiation environment. This model is then used to predict the evolution of the radiation environment as a result of changes to the plant as decommissioning or plant modifications proceed. Changes that can be modelled include the addition or removal of shielding and the movement, removal or reduction of radiation sources. The system can also, where available, utilise existing uncollimated dose readings and conventional 3D CAD models of plant, thus reducing the associated cost.
