Janet Linaker - Principal Consultant

Janet Linaker from Reading, joined REACT in July 1998. Janet studied at Reading College of Technology gaining an HNC in Applied Physics. She is the company point of contact for all Project Management matters and is the company's Quality and Security Manager.

Currently a Principal Consultant in the company specialising in project management and risk management services, Janet previously worked at AWE Aldermaston undertaking research on small explosive devices. She spent 20 years in the defence industry in roles which included UK project manager of a tri-national development programme. Since joining REACT Engineering her work has included the preparation of management plans, procedures and expenditure proposals, and facilitating business, project, risk, strategy and value engineering reviews. 

Janet wanted to relocate to Cumbria from Bedfordshire because of her love of the Lake District and outdoor pursuits. Gaining a post at REACT was the answer. She explains:

"Since joining REACT I have never looked back. The Company is based in an area of outstanding natural beauty. It is rural, uncrowded and very peaceful and quiet. It is ideally situated for walking and, where I live I can step out of my house and take many different walks without even getting in the car."
