Mark joined REACT in 2006 after graduating with a Masters Degree in Mechanical and Automotive Engineering from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and gained Chartered Engineer status in 2011.

His experience within REACT has included production of Front End Loading (FEL) project documentation, plant modification proposals and safety reports, as well as a high level of involvement in the production of mandate documentation for plants on the Sellafield site.  Mark currently project manages the company's Into Engineering Seminar for local Year 12 students.

Mark's career started as an Army Apprentice in the Royal Engineers from leaving school which was followed by  employment with the Forestry Commission as a plant mechanic and employment by two plant hire firms before moving abroad to take up a position in Bermuda.  Mark returned to England to study for his degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2001.
