Tim Brentnall - Project Manager
Since joining REACT Engineering in 2006, Tim has played a key role in the decommissioning mandates completed by Cumbria Nuclear Solutions Limited, of which REACT Engineering is a partner. He has researched and written key documents for the mandates as well as performing project management roles relating to delivery and overall quality. Tim studied at Salford University gaining an BSc in Mechanical Engineering.
Tim moved to the Nuclear industry from motor sport. He has project management and technical skills founded in the demanding environments of Formula 1 and World Championship Rallying. He said, "Having worked in the challenging environment of motor sport for many years I was attracted to REACT Engineering by its evidently high professional standards and enviable position in the equally challenging and fast developing nuclear decommissioning industry."
Tim has a solid background in mechanical engineering having been involved in all aspects of design and development, including drafting, specification of materials, prototype and production engineering, durability and fatigue testing and modelling. Tim also has experience of customer relations, both in terms of sales and field support.
