React Engineering is seeking a professional and organised Front of House & Facilities Coordinator to support the daily operation of The Hub and assist the Assurance Team in delivering their responsibilities and
wider company objectives. This role is central to creating a welcoming, safe and professional environment for employees, tenants, clients and visitors. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring the smooth
coordination of front-of-house and facilities activities, while fostering a culture of excellent customer service and taking ownership of maintaining a well-presented workplace. About The Hub
The Hub, located on the ground floor of The Flaxworks, is a central service function provided by the Assurance Team. Its purpose is to ensure a safe, secure and welcoming environment for employees, clients, tenants and visitors in line with React’s culture and values.
The Hub supports a range of workplace functions including:
- Access control, equipment issue and digital occupancy management
- Building safety, security and emergency response
- Facilities management and workplace experience
- Tenant liaison and visitor management
The Hub operating hours are Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 4:30pm and Friday 8:30am – 2:00pm
About the Role
As a Front of House & Facilities Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, clients and tenants. You will play an important role in creating a welcoming atmosphere while helping maintain a clean, safe and professional workplace environment. The role combines front-of-house responsibilities with facilities support and administrative tasks to ensure the workplace operates smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide a professional and welcoming reception service, meeting and greeting clients, tenants and visitors.
- Manage visitor hospitality including offering refreshments and supporting meeting arrangements.
- Maintain meeting rooms and refreshment areas to a high standard, ensuring they are clean, organised and well stocked.
- Ensure the facility is accessible, presentable and ready for each day’s activities.
- Issue and manage communal company assets and facility access fobs.
- Maintain a presence at The Hub during core hours and ensure the facility is secured outside of these times.
- Act as a day-to-day contact for tenants, cleaning teams and out-of-hours response teams.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and compliant working environment, identifying and reporting maintenance or facility issues.
- Liaise with building contractors regarding maintenance or repair work when required.
- Support workplace health and safety processes, including assisting with emergency evacuation procedures.
The role will also include designated safety responsibilities such as First Aider and Fire Warden, supporting the safety and wellbeing of building occupants.

- Maintain accurate information within relevant business systems.
- Provide internal and external reporting as required.
- Use Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Teams, Excel and Word, to support daily operations.
Working Arrangements
This is a full-time role (37.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday.
React supports flexible working arrangements to balance the needs of employees and the business. Start and finish times may vary to ensure The Hub is prepared and presentable for daily operations.
Occasionally, this may require a start time of 8:00am or a finish time of 5:00pm. These arrangements will be shared between team members and planned according to operational requirements.

Training
Full training will be provided for internal processes and procedures. External training will also be provided for safety responsibilities including First Aid and Fire Warden certification.
